Focus of Practice
Dr. Dasler offers both conventional and functional medicine approaches to psychiatric treatment. Conventional options involve the use of psychiatric medications to provide rapid symptom relief. Functional approaches utilize targeted laboratory testing and detailed history to determine the root causes of disease, allowing treatment that will have lasting benefit beyond symptom suppression. This may include assessing gut health, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, hormonal balance, immune function, environmental toxins, mitochondrial function, and diet. For many patients, some combination of traditional and functional medicine is used.
